Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academic Integrity in the Classroom

Turnitin
Turnitin is a web-based writing assessment toolkit which allows instructors to provide feedback to students through markup tools, rubrics, proofing tools and originality reports to detect plagiarism. Turnitin also provides peer review options. This tool is meant to teach students how to learn to properly avoid academic integrity violations and become adept at proper citations and writing overall.
Remote Teaching
Technical Support with Remote Teaching
IT Learning and Development (ITLD) offers two different ways to receive personalized technology support via the Tech Tutors and Tech Teaching Assistants (TAs) that an support faculty using technology. **Tech Tutors and TA’s cannot proctor exams and break out sessions with assessment in Zoom.
Tech Tutors
- Penn State students provide 1-1 training and troubleshooting for technology tools like Adobe, Canvas, Office 365, G Suite, Sites at Penn State, and Zoom.
- Available to all Penn State students, faculty, and staff via Zoom by appointment or drop-in from 8am-8pm, Monday through Friday.
